Weihnachtsmusik in Irland: Gestern unterhielten wir uns an dieser Stelle über die beliebtesten Weihnachtslieder der Iren, oder besser, die beliebtesten irischen Weihnachtslieder, oder gleich: unsere beliebtesten irischen Weihnachtslieder. Wir machen keinen Unterschied zwischen Klassik, Traditional, Pop oder was auch immer. Jesse brachte Mick Flannery und seinen Song Christmas Past ins Spiel und traf damit zumindest bei mir voll ins Schwarze. Mick ist (nach Rory Gallagher) mein irischer Lieblingssänger (mehr zu Mick Flannery gibt es hier).

Mick Flannery tourt auch diesen Dezember in Irland. Morgen abend sehen wir ihn im High Tide Club in Castletown-Berehaven und an Silvester in Cork im Opera House. Dazwischen spielt er im Roisin Dubh in Galway (28. Dezember), in Dolans in Limerick (29.) und im INEC in Killarney (30.).
