„Ich bin zu 88 Prozent Ire und zu 12 Prozent Schotte. Ich betrachte mich mehr als Schotte denn als Ire. Ich liebe die Iren, aber sie sind sehr… wie heißt das Wort? Es gibt kein Wort für „Nein“ im irischen Gälisch. Es ist, als wäre es eine Beleidigung, nein zu sagen. Sie würden dir eher die Kehle durchschneiden, als Nein zu sagen. Das Tolle an Schottland ist, dass ich das Wort „Nein“ gelernt habe.“

I’m 88% Irish and 12% Scot. I consider myself more Scots than Irish. I love the Irish, but they are, they’re very … what’s the word? There is no word for “no” in Irish Gaelic. It’s like it’s an offence to say no. They’d sooner cut your throat than say no to you. The great thing about Scotland is that I learned the word “no”.
