What again, is it the 12th already? I couldn’t do my last 12 of 12 on time as I had lost my laptop at the security-check at Cork airport – before my flight to Vienna on the 11th. I did it from my friend’s computer. Gosh, what a shock when I dicovered it at the next security-check in Dublin. But there was a very kind guy who connected me to lost-and-found in Cork and they had found my precious Apple and promised to keep it till my return after two weeks. They kept the promise. The idea of 12 of 12 goes back to Chad in Los Angeles.
In Kenmare it was quite easy to find a place to park the car – which is really unusual – so we bought some delicious breads from the German bakery. In Kenmare there are lovely shops and gorgeous buildings.
At the landfill site hubby and junior make their morning excercise: longthrow with trash-bags.
We decide to go to Killarney as junior needs new clothes for football. Along the road there is a phantastic change of sun and clouds.
Almost black and white. | Fast schwarzweiß.
Gorgeous place, even in winter. | Eine wunderbarere Gegend – auch im Winter.
An old house, better a ruin in downtown Killarney, some artist used it as a canvas for his or her painting.
After hours of shopping the day says farewell with gorgeous lights.
Oh, my goodness. Your pictures are absolutely gorgeous. A visit to Ireland is definitely on my bucket list.

What pretty fuschia!
A sheep on the side of the road? I'd be in heaven! I was in Dublin a few weeks ago and the only sheep I saw were at the souvenir shops :(
Must get to Killarney!
Lovely pictures — the skies and lakes especially!

Sheep!
Weak coffee is a crime against humanity. I think you should complain to the authorities.
I know it's winter, but the photos are wonderful and make me want to come to Ireland right now.
Nice 12, as always. And Merry Christmas!
So relieved you got your MacBook back! I'd have been terrified when I lost it!
Those are some beautiful country photos you have there – I can see why you like living there!
myriam.
I'm so glad you got the MacBook back safe and sound Eliane, good to see there are still some good and helpful people around :)
And lovely photos as always, especially the sunset. A beautiful place all year round.
Have a safe and warm holiday!
Anneke

ok Ireland has totally been added to my wish list of places to visit. Beautiful beautiful photos! I love the sheep.
Missus,
Hubby is utterly working class (think ignorance, excessive beer, pot belly). Is this what you say?
