Es war ein ultra-ruhiger Tag mit Beantworten von zig liegengebliebenen E-Mails und Beschriften von Fotos des gestrigen Ausflugs zur Blumeninsel hier im Dorf-Hafen Garinish Island. | It was a really calm day only with answering many e-mails and sorting the photographs from our boat trip to the garden island in our harbor Garinish Island from yesterday.
Unsere französischen Gäste haben dem Bootsfahrer ein Extra-Geld angekündigt, so dass er einen Umweg über Rückseite der Insel, die man sonst nie zu Augen bekommt, zurückfuhr. | Our French guests paid a little extra-money so the boatman took us around the island which normally isn’t possible. So we had a completely new view of the above building.
Es war eine tolle Bootsfahrt und eine Freude, die Fotos zu beschriften. | It was a lovely boat trip and a joy to sort and name all those pics.
Ein Schluck australische Limonade, schmeckt wie Cola mit Zahnpasta… | A sip of real Australian root beer.
Entfernen von Spinnweben und eingewachsenen Clematis-Ranken von der Haustürglocke. | Cleaning our doorbell from spider webs.
Auch die Glocke an der anderen Eingangstür. | Also the bell on the other entrance door.
Ein bisschen Blumengießen zwischendurch. | A little bit of watering the flowers in the garden.
Und die letzten Blüten der weißen Blaulilie (Agapanthus) bewundern. | And enjoying the last flowers of our white agapanthus.
Der Schopflavendel (Lavandula stoechas) ist dieses Jahr eher mickrig. | The butterfly lavender is quite poor this year.

Abends noch Stoffe sortiert und gegen die heute sehr lahme “Breitband”-Internetleitung angekämpft. | In the evening I sorted my vintage look fabrics. And fought against the lame so called broadband.
What a lovely boat trip with friends! I hope the broadband gets fixed eventually, you have such problems with it!

What a beautiful 12. The boat trip around the island must have been so nice. I really like your picture of the twine, and the fabric display is wonderful. Hopefully, since Chad has McLinky now, he'll keep hosting. I hope so, as I really enjoy living vicariously through my 12 of 12 friends. See you next month.

Hi Elaine, hope you are well. Funny thing about the Root Beer. Did you like it? I loved the second photo of the garden you visited and I also like the last one with the fabrics and of course all of the flowers. Anyway I did not know that Chad is stopping 12 of 12. We will have to think of another way to catch up every month. Thanks as always for sharing a little part of your day.

Hallo Eliane, da haben wir es ja fast gleichzeitig geschafft wie ich sehe. Du hast wieder so schöne Fotos von deinem Tag. Anscheinend war das Wetter viel schöner als bei uns. Deine Kameltürglocke gefällt mir am besten. Wir haben hier im Haus auch zwei unterschiedliche Klingeln, eine für oben , eine für unten. Oben Vogelgezwitscher und unten klingelt es wie ein altes Telefon.
