Ich sitze in einer (deutschen) Pension am Flughafen von Cork (mit toll schnellem Internet), um morgen früh um 6:30 Uhr gen München zu düsen. Es fällt mir schwer, da es so schön sonnig auf der anderthalbstündigen Fahrt war und der Wetterbericht verspricht auch noch viele viele Tage wunderschönes (aber kaltes) Wetter. Hoffentlich klappt es so früh mit der Landung, es soll kräftig schneien…
Here I am in an Bed and Breakfast at the airport Cork not all too ready to leave the sunny island (with brilliant wheather forecast) to fly to Munich tomorrow at 6:30 am. Way too early and way too snowy. I hope we cvan land without any trouble. On Thursday I continue my trip to Vienna where I will be staying for almost a week. So the next 12 of 12 will be showing some impressions from that city.
These are really fantastic photos. Actually, the heart condition my son has Tetrology of Fallot is 1/1000 children, but overall 1/100 children born has some kind of heart defect. You think with numbers this high that the government would be spending more money on research to figure out why this is happening. Diet, environment, ?????? While I am greatful that their are procedures to repair his heart it makes me sad that his next procedure which he will need when he is 15 or so will leave him completely dependant on medications. Ugh! I guess their could be worse things, but wouldn't it me nice if a future mother didn't have to deal with all of this because they figured out why so many babies have heart defects.
